Formation

While much of our work is outwardly focused and experiment oriented, we also believe it is essential to stop, cultivate wisdom, and care for ourselves. Our namesake suggest that we have to keep the missional work and the wisdom work both in high priority in order to maintain a healthy balance as an organization. The Missional Wisdom Foundation intentionally offers a variety of formative opportunities for people to tend to their own spirituality and growth. Below you will find our Formation opportunities that are available to you and our wider community. Please consider joining us for one of them!

  • Pilgrimage - Each year we take groups on pilgrimage. In the past we have gone to Iona, Scotland, walked the Camino de Santiago, and walked St. Cuthbert’s Way. Go to this page to see where we are going this year!

  • Incarnational Study Series - Each year we host a study series during Lent, Ordinary Time, and Advent. Join a study or download a past study for free!

  • Coaching and Spiritual Direction - Missional Wisdom Foundation has trained coaches and spiritual directors on staff. Contact one of our coaches or directors if you would like someone to journey with you!

  • Blog - Our Wisdom for the Way newsletter writings can be found here, as well as other writings and resources.

  • What We’re Reading - A list of books our staff have read that we think would be great reads for you too!
