Discussion Questions:
A primary message of The Samaritan’s Friend is that Jesus invites, welcomes, and rejoices in everyone; rambling wanderers, blue collar workers, irritating women of other religions, street people, gay tax collectors, religious leaders, occupying soldiers, zealots, children, and especially those who feel lost. The only ones that were left out were those who excluded themselves. How does the concept of a love without boundaries make you feel?
How does the idea that God delights in you, just as you are, right now, make you feel?
Many people find it easy to believe God loves and delights in others but, struggle to believe God loves and delights in them. Does that resonate?
