Please remember us on Giving Tuesday

It’s hard to be a non-profit that focuses on building community during a pandemic. We have been forced to contract, losing wonderful folks whom we love very much. Along with the rest of the world, we have had to endure lock-downs that took away our pilgrimages, cancelled our gatherings, and closed our co-working spaces.

And yet, by the grace of God, we have endured. We found ways to engage people over Zoom and Facebook, and we redesigned our spaces to provide safe work places for teens encountering distance learning and for artists needing studio space. We helped our culinary friends to endure the changes in demand that the pandemic brought on. We did the work that the Spirit gave us.

So now we are reemerging, focused on our community hubs in Dallas and Asheville. We continue to adapt our spaces for safe use in the time of Covid and in the time that will follow. We understand that new ways of gathering will emerge, and we are committed to continuing to experiment with new ideas so that we can share our experiences with others. We will continue to hold up school children, budding entrepreneurs and local neighborhoods as the focal points of our work.

And we need your help. Our revenue streams have been hit hard, and individual donations are more important to us than ever. As you choose among the many non-profits that need your help now, please consider including the Missional Wisdom Foundation in your giving on Tuesday.

Praying for a safe and joyful holiday season,
