2027 Pilgrimage-Four PAYMENTS OPTION

$662.50 every month for 4 months

This is the payment portion only. To register for this pilgrimage, please “purchase” a registration as well ($0.00). Each pilgrim will need to have a payment transaction and a registration transaction.

Dates: June 10–19, 2027 or June 17–20, 2027

What’s Included in the Iona Pilgrimage Package

  • Lodging on the Isle of Iona and mainland Scotland

  • Daily breakfast & dinner

  • All land and sea travel in Scotland

  • Corporate worship at Iona Abbey with the Iona Community (9 am & 9 pm)

  • Small-group spiritual practice with fellow pilgrims

  • Guided liturgies, reflection, and spiritual direction from Missional Wisdom Foundation guides

  • Preparatory spiritual practice course before departure

  • Post-pilgrimage integration sessions after returning home

Cost

  • Four payments of $662.50 per pilgrim (airfare not included)

  • First payment will process at check out. Subsequent payments will process to the same payment method on the day of the month the initial payment processes.

  • Optional airfare booking available through MWF (invoiced separately)

How to Register

  1. Register through the Missional Wisdom Foundation online store (one per pilgrim).

  2. Submit your first payment to reserve your space.

Spots are limited. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Once filled, a waitlist will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Register

The island of Iona has long been a place of refuge for pilgrims and wanderers alike. Known as a spiritual “thin place,” Iona welcomes you in with whispers and shouts. Iona, Scotland, a Hebridean island known throughout the world as a celtic “thin place,” a place where the veil between heaven and earth is thin, is home to the Iona Community. Pilgrims worship in the Iona Abbey morning and evening, and spend the remainder of the day in unprogrammed times of rest, walking, and reflection.

Now, on that same day, two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, and talking with each other about all these things that had happened. While they were talking and discussing, Jesus himself came near and went with them. -Luke 24:13b-15a

Pilgrimage is an intentional journey from the pilgrim’s context to a place of religious significance to promote spiritual growth or transformation. Pilgrimage happens in the process. It is bringing intention to where you are and receiving the grace of walking and talking.
