As Andrea mentioned in the devotional above, today marks the one year anniversary of Missional Wisdom Foundation’s Wisdom for the Way publication. We have been working hard - alongside many of you - to continue our mission of experimenting with and teaching about alternative forms of Christian community, and we have a number of new programs nearing completion.

Construction is nearing completion, and Haw Creek Commons in Asheville, NC will officially open as a coworking space, commercial kitchen, creative space, and retreat facility very soon.

As the construction nears completion at Haw Creek, it has begun again at The Mix Coworking and Creative Space in Dallas, TX. The Mix is now in the process of adding a commercial kitchen to its facilities. We are excited to soon offer opportunities for booking kitchen space by the hour and the day, whether you are a caterer, small business owner, or just need to cook up large amounts of food at once!

Journey, our newest educational initiative, will launch very soon. The program uses the same robust online learning platform that we use in Launch & Lead (Canvas), but the classes stand by themselves and can be taken by anyone at an individualized pace. This modular approach allows students to access content that doesn’t necessarily fit into Launch & Lead or other long-term programs although there will be some overlap. If you are interested in hearing more about Journey, please click here to subscribe to our mailing list so that we can contact you when new Journey courses are added to the catalog.

Launch & Lead, MWF’s two year online training program, is undergoing a massive redesign that will be launching in the fall. We are excited about the core competencies that we have developed, and the use of cutting-edge educational strategies in our newly updated curriculum. Registration will open soon. Please email info@missionalwisdom.com if you are interested in more information.

Our new coach training program, Instigate, will be launching it’s first cohort this fall as well. This program is designed to meet requirements for the International Coach Federation’s (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentials. Be on the lookout for more information in the coming weeks.

Speaking of new information, the Missional Wisdom Foundation’s website (missionalwisdom.com) is undergoing its own redesign process. The site is getting more than just a fresh coat of paint. We’ve gone back to blank canvas in order to refresh, rework, and update all of our content (plus adding in all the new bits!) in order to more accurately and effectively reflect the ways that MWF has developed and expanded over the past couple years.

Several MWF staff members have books in some level of the publication process. Be watching for Together by Larry Duggins, The Julian Way: A Theology of Fullness for all of God's People, by Justin Hancock, and What Kind of God? by Bret Wells - they should be hitting the shelves soon!

...and coming soon in Spring 2018...the first annual MWF National Gathering. (Yes, that's right. A national gathering - all of us in one place, at one time, with our friends. Be excited with us!) More details coming soon.

Thank you, our Dispersed Community, for journeying with us over the past year. We look forward to sharing with you as each of these programs and publications come to fruition, and as we grow in ways that have not yet even been dreamed. If you would like to help us as we experiment, teach, and live into God’s mission in the world, you can donate here.
